On May 24, the highly anticipated 7th International Conference and Exhibition on Energy Storage Technologies, Equipment, and Applications—SNEC 2023—was grandly held in Shanghai. Yunneng Magic Cube showcased its latest distributed energy storage and smart grid products, along with the innovative "6S+EDR" energy storage system solution and a cutting-edge energy utilization system solution tailored for zero-carbon parks. Through SNEC's global platform, Yunneng Magic Cube unveiled its unique system technologies and product portfolio to customers from around the world, drawing numerous visitors who stopped by to learn more and seek expert advice.
The Yuneng Magic Cube exhibition area drew significant attention and was bustling with visitors. At this year's event, Yuneng Magic Cube highlighted its independently developed distributed energy storage and smart grid products and system solutions, including modular energy storage inverters (PCS), distributed energy storage cabinets (DPS), a distributed smart grid operation control system (DCS), and a distributed smart grid energy management system (DMS), among other exhibits. YunNeng Magic Cube has independently developed the industry-leading "6S+EDR" energy storage system, an innovative solution that features newly upgraded PCS, BMS, and EMS subsystems. It also incorporates the advanced BWS battery early-warning system, the ASS active safety system, the HCS high-speed control system, and the world's first EDR fault recording system. In April of this year, YunNeng Magic Cube once again reached a cooperation agreement with Welliq Energy, a subsidiary of Geely, securing a deal for commercial and industrial energy storage systems totaling 600 MWh— all of which will exclusively utilize this groundbreaking industry solution.
The "Zero-Carbon Park Energy Utilization System Solution" by Yunneng Magic Cube also drew significant attention during the exhibition. This solution features three core components and four key highlights. The three core devices include distributed smart grid energy management system software, a distributed smart grid operation control cabinet, and distributed energy storage cabinets. At the system's upper layer sits a digital energy management platform—equipped with advanced software and algorithms that serve as its "artificial brain." The middle layer comprises power IoT products for comprehensive real-time sensing, along with cutting-edge control and protection devices that form the system's "neural network." At the lower level are innovative distributed energy storage systems. Together, this "Artificial Brain + Neural Network + Next-Generation Energy Storage Equipment" configuration creates an ideal distributed energy system tailored for zero-carbon parks. In today’s context of clean-energy utilization in zero-carbon park development, this solution demonstrates remarkable application potential and boasts a clear technological edge.
This time, Yuneng Magic Cube has launched its next-generation compact 100kW/215kWh (AC400V, DC1000V) air-cooled integrated energy storage cabinets, as well as a 200kW/400kWh (AC690V, DC1500V) liquid-cooled integrated energy storage solution. These energy storage cabinets feature optimized air-cooling and liquid-cooling temperature control technologies, equipped with Yuneng Magic Cube’s proprietary BWS battery early-warning system, ASS active safety system, HCS high-speed control system, and EDR fault recording system. The products boast industry-leading intelligent features such as battery pre-warning, active safety, fault recording, remote monitoring, remote adjustment, and remote OTA upgrades, significantly enhancing the safety and intelligence levels of energy storage solutions. The distributed energy storage cabinets are ideally suited for a wide range of applications, including energy storage in industrial and commercial parks, EV charging/swapping stations with storage capabilities, distributed photovoltaic systems paired with energy storage, grid substation-level energy storage, microgrid energy storage systems, and emergency power supply setups. The Yunneng Magic Cube Distributed Smart Grid Operation Control Cabinet integrates multiple functions into one compact unit. Inside, it houses advanced Power IoT full-state sensing products and cutting-edge control & protection devices, offering system capabilities such as high-speed communication, measurement, control, protection, enhanced safety and stability, as well as seamless grid connection/disconnection switching. Additionally, the cabinet is equipped with servers and features distributed smart grid energy management system software, enabling real-time data acquisition, dynamic monitoring and alarm alerts, operational control and adjustment, and intelligent energy management—all critical for optimizing energy efficiency. This product is ideally suited for a wide range of applications, including industrial and commercial parks, distributed energy stations, and zero-carbon campuses.
In addition, the exhibition also showcased core energy storage product components such as the modular energy storage power converter PCS and the fault recording system EDR.
