Recently, the 520 kW grid‑forming liquid‑cooled string‑type power conversion system (PCS), independently developed by Yuneng Magic Cube (CECB), successfully obtained European grid‑connection certification from TÜV SÜD. Leveraging VSG virtual synchronous generator technology, it delivers AGC/AVC frequency and voltage regulation, as well as high‑ and low‑voltage ride‑through capabilities, ensuring stable performance even under weak grid conditions. With cluster‑level independent control, it eliminates parallel circulating currents, and a single‑cluster fault does not affect overall system operation. The entire unit—PCS, PDU, and BCU—is highly integrated, featuring all‑liquid cooling and IP65 protection, with a peak efficiency of 99%, power response within 10 ms, and minimal derating at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for ground‑mounted energy storage, commercial and industrial applications, and microgrid scenarios, with performance that meets the EU’s stringent grid‑connection standards, providing highly reliable core equipment for overseas energy‑storage projects.
