Another authoritative certification added! The high-speed control system of Yuneng Magic Cube iHCS energy storage power station has passed STIEE testing.

  Recently, Yuneng Magic Cube's independently developed iHCS energy storage power station high-speed control system has passed STIEE certification. This marks another authoritative validation and recognition for Yuneng Magic Cube, following the successful certification of its iEDR energy storage power station fault recording system and iEMS distributed energy storage energy management system!

  During this round of testing and inspection, the STIEE laboratory evaluated 23 key performance indicators of the system, including its primary frequency modulation function, dynamic reactive power voltage regulation capability, command reception and forwarding accuracy, analog measurement precision, and control command execution timing accuracy. All test results achieved a perfect 100% pass rate. As a subsystem within Cloud Energy Magic Cube’s innovative "6S+EDR" nuclear-grade safety energy storage solution for nuclear power plants, the iHCS high-speed control system for energy storage stations works synergistically with other subsystems to significantly enhance the safety, intelligence, and grid compatibility of distributed energy storage products.

  The Yuneng Magic Cube iHCS energy storage power station's high-speed control system can be widely applied in centralized new-energy-side storage stations, grid-side energy storage stations, and other related fields. It adopts a ring network topology and leverages real-time Ethernet technology to achieve highly synchronized, low-latency control operations. The system delivers dynamic reactive power response times within 30 milliseconds, primary frequency modulation response times under 100 milliseconds, and source-grid-load response times also below 100 milliseconds—enabling a 100% rapid response that effectively prevents grid disconnection faults. Its key features include:

  ■ High-speed Data Acquisition and Response

  The latency across 10,000 nodes does not exceed 10 μs, reducing the primary frequency modulation time of the energy storage system by more than 50 ms.

  ■ Highly scalable

  Supports synchronized control of clusters comprising thousands of energy storage converters, while leveraging a distributed architecture to enable simultaneous monitoring and tracking control across multiple grid connection points. It can deliver various rapid power control functions, including primary frequency regulation, dynamic reactive power adjustment, and precise load shedding.

  ■ Simple network architecture

  Adopting a ring network topology can significantly reduce the number of control cables required on-site, thereby saving costs, minimizing construction effort, and lowering the workload for subsequent maintenance.

  Yuneng Magic Cube's innovative "6S+EDR" nuclear-grade safe energy storage system redefines the traditional "PCS, BMS, and EMS": The modular PCS features a string-based multi-branch design, enabling electrical and safety isolation while significantly boosting charge/discharge efficiency, dramatically increasing both charging/discharging capacity and system availability. Meanwhile, the open-style BMS incorporates plug-in connector temperature monitoring and PACK-level fire suppression linkage, effectively preventing battery pack fires—and with iterative data algorithms and remote OTA upgrades, it precisely enhances algorithm accuracy. Additionally, the flexible EMS implements system-level, partitioned safety management and dynamic, intelligent control to efficiently contain potential accident scenarios. Furthermore, the system now includes newly added subsystems: "HCS, BWS, ASS, and EDR."
