The Yuneng Magic Cube iPCS Modular Energy Storage Inverter Successfully Passes National Standard Testing and Certification.

  Recently, the iPCS modular energy storage converter—developed independently by Yuneng Magic Cube—successfully passed the GB/T 34120-2017 "Technical Specification for Energy Storage Converters in Electrochemical Energy Storage Systems" standard certification after undergoing rigorous testing and inspection by the Cape Testing Institute. This marks another milestone for Yuneng Magic Cube, as this newly certified core component joins its previously recognized products—including the iHCS high-speed control system for energy storage power stations, the iEDR fault recording system for energy storage plants, and the iEMS distributed energy storage management system—in earning professional accreditation. The latest certification further validates the exceptional reliability and stability of Yuneng Magic Cube's product quality.

  This inspection covered numerous technical requirements of the energy storage inverter, including safety, functionality, and compatibility. Rigorous testing was conducted across 31 key areas—such as the product’s functionality, efficiency, losses, overload capacity, total harmonic distortion of current, and DC component—and the relevant technical specifications and performance parameters fully meet the applicable standard requirements.

  The energy storage converter is one of the core components of an energy storage system, playing a critical role in ensuring the reliability of energy storage facilities. Yuneng Magic Cube’s self-developed 100kW energy storage converter has already been deployed in distributed energy storage power stations. It features multi-branch cluster control, enabling rapid isolation of faulty battery cells while allowing the system to continue operating without downtime and facilitating online maintenance. This design effectively prevents malfunctioning battery cells from continuing to operate under stress, while also avoiding DC-side circulating currents—resulting in a boost of at least 1% in charge-discharge efficiency and a 5% increase in total charge/discharge capacity. Additionally, system availability improves by more than 10%. This advanced technology is highly significant for fully leveraging energy storage systems to support grid services such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, and backup power supply, thereby enhancing the safety and stability of regional power grids. The product can be widely applied across various scenarios, including energy storage solutions for industrial and commercial parks, EV charging/swapping and storage stations, distributed photovoltaic systems paired with energy storage, energy storage projects integrated into grid distribution substations, microgrid energy storage systems, and emergency power supply systems.
