Strong collaboration fuels growth! Yunneng Magic Cube and Weirui Energy have reached an intention to cooperate on a 600MWh project, marking the occasion with a strategic signing ceremony.

Recently, the 11th ESIE Energy Storage International Summit and Exhibition was held at the Shougang Convention Center in Beijing. During the event, Yuneng Magic Cube and Weirui Energy reached an agreement in principle to collaborate on a commercial and industrial distributed energy storage system project with a total capacity of 600 MWh, followed by a strategic partnership signing ceremony.

Yuneng Magic Cube's next-generation "6S+EDR" nuclear-grade safety energy storage system introduces an innovative solution that redefines the traditional "PCS, BMS, and EMS" frameworks: The modular PCS features a string-based multi-branch design, enabling electrical and thermal isolation while significantly enhancing charging and discharging efficiency, boosting overall energy capacity, and improving system availability. Meanwhile, the open-style BMS incorporates plug-in temperature sensors and PACK-level fire suppression interlocks, effectively preventing battery cluster fires. It also leverages iterative data algorithms and remote OTA upgrades to precisely refine algorithm accuracy over time. Additionally, the flexible EMS implements system-level, partitioned safety management and dynamic, intelligent control mechanisms, helping to minimize the scope of potential incidents. To further elevate performance, the system integrates new subsystems—HCS, BWS, ASS, and EDR—which dramatically enhance the safety, intelligence, and grid compatibility of distributed energy storage products. Notably, Yuneng is the first globally to introduce the "intelligent black box" iEDR—a fault recording system tailored for energy storage power stations. This cutting-edge technology boasts advanced capabilities such as multi-source data collection, intelligent visual trace-back, real-time data alerts, and AI-driven analytics.
